10. QB Sheriron Jones
Jones was the third man in line at quarterback and took the redshirt season while Joshua Dobbs started every game and Quinten Dormady was only needed in mop-up duty. This turned out to be somewhat of a moot point for the Vols on Thursday of this week when news broke that Jones will be transferring to Colorado. He’ll have to sit out another year per NCAA transfer rules and should be eligible there in 2017 and classified as a redshirt sophomore.
