10. Tennessee’s offensive line is no longer a joke

This wasn’t one of the more purely talented offensive line groups in Tennessee history, but this unit transformed from a complete joke in 2014 to an extremely improved group in 2015. The numbers don’t lie in this situation. Tennessee went from 43 sacks allowed in 2014 to just 21 so far this year. The Vols also added 77 yards per game rushing. That 77 matches the number of Kyler Kerbyson – who emerged as an All-SEC caliber player at left tackle after struggling there last year. Coleman Thomas, Dylan Wiesman, Jashon Robertson and the combination of Chance Hall and Brett Kendrick formed a very solid unit this year with some help from the backups when the midseason injury bug set in.
