Tennessee’s Recruiting Christmas Wish List

Offensive Linemen: You know how sometimes you didn’t care which remote control car you got for Christmas? All you knew was you wanted one. Well, this is exactly what I’m talking about here.

As of right now, Ryan Johnson is the lone offensive lineman of Tennessee’s 2016 recruiting class. And while he is sure to be a huge asset to the team one day, one lineman just isn’t enough.

Remember when Derek Dooley didn’t get a single offensive lineman in the 2012 recruiting class? It was devastating from a recruiting standpoint. For a position group that starts five players at a time, teams usually shoot for a minimum of 3-5 lineman recruits each year. The depth at offensive line is finally starting to come back around and only taking one recruit at the position would be a big blow to the progress this team has made. North Carolina four-star Landon Dickerson, Ohio three star Nathan Niehaus and Florida three star Marcus Tatum are some names to watch.
