Nigel Warrior: With the departure of safeties Brian Randolph and LaDarrell McNeil to graduation, and Cam Sutton possibly leaving early for the NFL, the replenishing the Tennessee secondary will be of the utmost importance for the Vols.
Warrior, who is the son of former Tennessee All-American cornerback Dale Carter, is a four-star safety from Suwanee, Georgia with all the tools to make an early impact for Vols. His 30 tackles and three interceptions as a senior earned him a spot on the Army All-America team.
At 5-foot 11, 190 pounds, Warrior has all the tools to be the next Todd Kelly Jr. His ball-hawking skills will give him plenty of opportunities for early playing time and he doubles as a deadly return specialist, having scored multiple times on special teams.
