Yoda is the oldest Jedi in the Star Wars film franchises, and it’s because of him the Jedi in the prequel films were as prominent and powerful as they were at the apex of the Republic’s reign. Yoda was there at the beginning of the Jedi Council and helped form what we know of the modern-day Jedi.

Much the same, General Robert E. Neyland helped make the Vols what they are today and laid the bedrock upon which the football program has been built. Also like Yoda, Neyland served in the military and fought against real-life enemies, not just those on the football field.

From 1926-1952 (with a break from 1941-45 as he fought in WWII), Neyland led the Vols to an unprecedented 173-31-12 record and never once had a losing season while coaching Tennessee. Neyland was the most successful head coach the Vols have ever had, and in that way he is the most similar to the strongest Force user in the Star Wars film franchise.
