1. Peyton Maning as Luke Skywalker
In the Star Wars universe, Luke Skywalker is the ultimate hero. He is the Jedi knight from Episodes IV-VI who helps save the galaxy from the evil clutches of the Empire and helps save the day along with his companions.
Tennessee’s ultimate hero is, of course, Peyton Manning. Arguably the greatest Vol to ever don the orange and white, Manning holds numerous passing records at UT. He has the most career passing yards, touchdowns, completions and wins to name a few. Manning has gone on to have one of the most successful NFL careers as well, winning the league MVP award a record five times and has a Super Bowl ring as well.
There’s no doubt who would be the Vols’ Luke Skywalker. If anyone could save the galaxy (SEC) for the Vols, it would be Manning.
