Quarterbacks
Joshua Dobbs missed a few open targets, most notably underthrowing a wide-open Alvin Kamara out of the backfield early in the game on what could’ve potentially been a huge play. But as has been the case for most of the season, what he did do far outweighed what he didn’t. And once again, he was a huge factor in the run game – totaling 16 carries for 99 yards and a touchdown. And it wasn’t all bad in the passing game. He had a decent line of 13-for-21 passing for 140 yards and two touchdowns. His strong play even helped freshman Quinten Dormady get some reps in the fourth quarter. Overall, Dobbs continues to show that he is a warrior that will find ways to help the Vols win.
