The former highly-touted recruit started five games as a true freshman before settling into a backup role in 2012 and then redshirting in 2013 when the Vols had plenty of depth and talent on the offensive line. He then started all but one game in 2014 and was expected to be a senior leader heading into 2015. Injury, however, ended his senior year before it got started, sidelining him for the entirety of the year.
