2. S Brian Randolph
A starter for a vast majority of his career, Brian Randolph, once referred to as “Ole Man River” by former coach Derek Dooley, has been a model of consistency on and off the field for the past five years. In his 51 career games, he’s recorded 300 tackles, 6.5 TFLs, four forced fumbles, 13 PBUs and seven interceptions. He’s consistently helped the defense get set, made coverage adjustments and has been somewhat of a quarterback for the secondary for the past several years. Not the biggest, strongest or fastest player, he hasn’t ever been an elite player, but has been a steadying force in a program full of change.
