Jason Witten continues to pile up huge career numbers. He hit another career milestone on Thursday afternoon against the Carolina Panthers:

Witten, who was a third-round draft pick out of Tennessee to the Cowboys in 2003, sits behind only former Chiefs/Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez’s 15,127 yards in terms of career receiving yardage by a tight end.
He’s also just two catches shy of 1,000 for his career, where he’d also join Gonzalez as the only two tight ends to ever reach that mark in NFL history. Witten also set the Cowboys’ record for consecutive games played last week when he appeared in No. 197.
