1. DE/OLB Curt Maggitt

While there’s still a possibility he could apply for a sixth year after he’s had two seasons wiped away due to injury, Butch Jones said fifth-year senior OLB/DE Curt Maggitt will be honored on Senior Day this year. And if this is indeed it for Maggitt, who has missed all but two games this year with a hip injury, it’s been a heck of a career. He’s battled a knee, shoulder and now hip injury, but still managed to pile up 13.5 sacks, 28.5 TFLS, four forced fumbles and 14 quarterback hurries in his 35 career appearances. He’s been a leader on and off the field and was a huge part of UT’s late-season run in 2014 that helped get the program going in the right direction.
