Texas A&M (-7) at Vanderbilt, 7:30 pm ET, SEC Network
John: This is actually a pretty interesting game. Everyone knows Vandy has a good defense, but did you know they rank No. 1 in the nation in 3rd down conversions? Meanwhile the Aggies have had a weird season. And by weird I mean borderline bad. They haven’t looked good in their last three SEC games (losses to Alabama, Ole Miss and Auburn and a lackluster win against South Carolina). They’ll probably find just enough to beat the Commodores, but not enough to cover. Vanderbilt +7.
Kevin: This is a fun game to pick, Vanderbilt is playing as good of defense as anyone, but I just can’t believe that Vanderbilt is close to being ready to win this game. They’re only a few athletes, and a real offensive coordinator away, from being a contender. Now is not that time, however. Texas A&M -7.
