John: You’re welcome, Hog Nation, or whatever you call yourselves, for us allowing you to get your season jump started. Because that’s when it all began for Arkansas. In Neyland, down 14-0 and staring a four-game losing streak smack dab in the face. We all know what happened that night, and it served as a microcosm for their season, which they’ve also turned around in stunning fashion as last week’s nationally televised assault on LSU (in Death Valley, no less) would attest. You can bet against them, if you want, but I’m not. Arkansas -4.5.
Kevin: I love Dan Mullen, and it’s hard to believe he’s still at Mississippi State as I think they’ve hit a school specific ceiling there. Arkansas is on another season ending hot streak, and they should be able to run the ball on Mississippi State defense enough to get a win. I don’t love the 4.5 points, but I can’t bet against Bret Bielema right now. Arkansas -4.5
