5. Who steps up in the post?
Tennessee shouldn’t fool anybody. The days of Jarnell Stokes/Jeronne Maymon-types controlling the low post are gone for now and UT will have to get creative in this area, just as the Vols did last year. Derek Reese, who has always had a bit more of a guard skill set than a big man, will be called upon to help out down low, as will the undersized Armani Moore. Jabari McGhee, coming off a medical redshirt season after he appeared in just eight games last year, and true freshman Kyle Alexander are the only other eligible true big men on the roster at this point. All four of them will have to play a big role, with the wings and guards all being called upon to step up and help as well.
