Linebackers
Jalen Reeves-Maybin and Darrin Kirkland Jr., the only two linebackers who saw significant action, combined for 18 tackles and a pair of QB hurries. South Carolina gained some traction on the ground, but only managed a 3.8 yards-per-carry average overall thanks, in part, to JRM and Kirkland. Reeves-Maybin also hustled down the field to hop on the game-clinching fumble recovery for the Vols. Outside of that, there weren’t a ton of game-changing plays from this duo, but they played well enough to help UT get the win.
