This was a great call by Jancek and a great play by Brian Randolph to execute. The Vols show Coker a cover-one look, meaning that Coker assumes Randolph will play to the middle of the field at the snap of the ball. Coker assumes that his receiver will be wide open after “beating” Justin Martin, but Randolph stays wide and is waiting to pick off the pass.
