There was plenty of discussion of the lack of holding calls on Alabama during Saturday’s game. This video clip perhaps shows it better than any other as Tennessee defensive end Derek Barnett was held multiple times on one play by Alabama tackle Dominick Jackson with no flag thrown.
There are no guarantees that this, or any other, missed holding call would’ve changed the outcome of UT’s 19-14 loss in Tuscaloosa, but it does appear that Vol fans have a good case on at least this play.
