Linebackers
Jalen Reeves-Maybin was everywhere. He piled up 11 tackles, 2.5 TFLs and a sack in one of the best performances of his UT career. Darrin Kirkland Jr., who had been very quiet the past few weeks, stepped up with seven tackles as well, so that duo, which saw almost all the snaps for this group in the game, did some good things. There were some missed tackles, especially early and late in the game when Alabama was able to get Derrick Henry loose a bit, but led by JRM’s effort, it was an improved performance for the linebackers overall.
