Secondary
It was somewhat of a mixed bag for this unit, which did give up 21 receptions and 247 yards to Alabama, but also seemed to have tighter coverage overall, tackled well and recorded an interception. Alabama seemed to be able to get the plays it needed through the air in clutch situations, but it also wasn’t an incredibly poor effort from the secondary either.
