5. Capitalize on Turnovers
The unspoken assumption here is that Tennessee must first force turnovers. But forcing a Coker interception and scoring a touchdown on the ensuing drive are two different things.
For Tennessee to have a shot at beating Alabama, the Vols will have to capitalize on any and every turnover they get. Leaving points on the field is not an option.
Obviously field goals help, but it will take touchdowns to beat the Crimson Tide. And touchdowns from turnovers swing the game’s momentum and scoreboard in a big way.
