10. Win Field Position Battle
First and foremost, the Vols need to make sure Alabama has a long way to go every time it gets the ball.
In other words, Trevor Daniel needs to be the Trevor Daniel he’s been all season, and Aaron Medley needs every kickoff to be a touchback.
If the Tide have a long way to go on each drive, it will give Tennessee’s defense more opportunities to get a stop or a turnover. On the flip side, if Alabama is given good field position, their offense is efficient enough to score more often than not.
