John: Good news: I have a fool proof way for you to make money. Bad news: it comes at the expense of my dignity. True story: last week, Kevin and I actually agreed on every single pick. But I wanted to gain ground on him, so I went the other way on two games I’d been waffling on before writing my portion. BOTH LOSERS. Kevin went 3-3. Me? For the third time this year, I went 1-5 (and I needed LSU’s fake field goal to get that one!). That’s hard to do. Kevin now sits at a very solid 23-18-1 on the year, while I continue to lose you money with my 15-26-1 record on the year.
So here’s my fool-proof way for you to make money. Study the games that Kevin and I disagree on, and BET THE FARM on whichever team he took. And let my exploits on SEC Pick 6 (editor’s note: we snuck one non-SEC game in since there aren’t six great SEC matchups this week) serve notice to one and all that gambling just doesn’t pay.
