1. Don’t Let Off the Gas
In all three of Tennessee’s losses, the Vols had a two-touchdown lead in the fourth quarter and seemed to let off the gas.
Against Georgia, the Vols went down early 24-3 and put the pedal to metal for the rest of the game to come back and upset the Bulldogs in Neyland Stadium.
So it seems the most important thing the Vols can do to beat the Crimson Tide is play like they are behind the entire game. Play fast and aggressive, never letting off the gas. Remember Maxim #3 for 60 minutes: If at first the game – or the breaks – go against you, don’t let up. Put on more steam.
