Auburn (-1.5) at Kentucky, Thursday, ESPN
Kevin: Kentucky is, oddly, the better team in this matchup but the Wildcats are, as usual, trying to overcome their fear of big names on the jerseys of opponents. Auburn has sort of improved, and mostly this game is just going to be really bad. Can’t begin to decide how this breaks down, so i’ll choose to take the home dog. Kentucky +1.5
John: I disagree with Kevin on one thing. I think this game is going to be great! It is weird, though. If you’d told me before the season what the line was gonna be, this would be my five-star lock of all time. Auburn. My how things have changed. Kentucky already has two SEC wins along with a not-so-bad-looking loss (the tight contest against FL). But their season has also been bookended with two really unimpressive (and equally tight) Ws against La Tech and Eastern KY. So generally speaking, I can’t make up my mind on Kentucky. But when it comes to tonight specifically? My mind is most definitely made up. Kentucky +1.5
