Evan Berry-1-4

 Special Teams

What else can you say about punter Trevor Daniel at this point? He’s been one of the most pleasant surprises for the Vols all year, and he continues to punt lights out, including maybe the punt of the decade for the Vols late in the fourth quarter that trickled out at the 1-yard line and forced Georgia to try to go 99 yards at the end – a task the Bulldogs were unable to complete. Evan Berry had a 46-yard kickoff return that helped UT start its comeback, Jakob Johnson forced a fumble on a kickoff return that set the Vols up for a touchdown, Aaron Medley hit a chip-shot field goal and all his extra points and Cam Sutton contributed a 23-yard punt return as well. While Georgia should’ve probably had it called back due to a block in the back (the flag was thrown and then picked back up), the 71-yard touchdown return by Reggie Davis was the one critical error by UT’s special teams. It was still a solid day overall, but that kept it from being almost perfect.
