Tennessee plans to wear their alternate Smokey gray uniforms on Saturday against Georgia, head coach Butch Jones confirmed at his Monday press conference.

“As of right now, if we do get all of the helmets in, I want to announce that it will be a Smokey gray game, so we will debut our Smokey gray uniforms, which does not help you win a football game, but I know everyone has been looking forward to that and starting this week off today,”Jones said.
This will be the debut of the Nike Smokey gray look, which features a gray helmet with an outline of the Smokey Mountains included on it. The Vols wore an Adidas Smokey gray look twice in 203 – falling to both Georgia and Vanderbilt at home in those contests.
