Jarrett Guarantano (Foot) Out For the Season

GuarantanofeaturedOne of Tennessee’s highest-rated commitments in the 2016 class will miss the end of his senior season in high school.

Quarterback Jarrett Guarantano sustained a season-ending foot injury on Saturday, per NJ.com. Guarantano, ranked as the top dual-threat QB in the country by 247Sports, completed 75%of his passes for 1,268 yards, nine touchdowns to two interceptions and had another six touchdowns and 274 yards on the ground so far this season for Bergen Catholic, according to the report.

Guarantano committed to the Vols on April 15 over Ohio State, in-state Rutgers and others. The Vols also have a quarterback commitment in the 2017 class from highly-touted Indiana signal-caller Hunter Johnson.
