Report Card: Florida 28 Tennessee 27

Cam Sutton-1

The Vols, again, lost a double-digit 4th quarter lead in spectacular fashion, this time on the way to a devastating 28-27 loss in The Swamp.

Florida quarterback Will Grier threw for a career high 283 yards and two touchdowns  – none bigger than the 63-yard completion to Antonio Callaway that gave Florida the lead with just 1:26 remaining. The Gators gained 13 of their 17 first downs through the air even though the Vol defense, before the 4th quarter, had largely made things difficult on their passing game. In the end, some timely busts proved costly for a unit that played fairly well for much of the game.
