Report Card: Tennessee 55, Western Carolina 10

Western Carolina-7

 Overall

For a game that had very little buzz over the course of the week, credit the team (and the crowd as well) for showing up Saturday night, putting the game out of reach in the first half and getting out of there with a comfortable win, some valuable experience for a lot of younger players and no significant injuries. The Vols got some important reps throwing the football and working on protecting against the blitz as well. It wasn’t a perfect night, but UT seemed to get about everything it could’ve wanted out of this game and now moves on to bigger challenges and higher stakes.
