Report Card: Tennessee 55, Western Carolina 10

Western Carolina-2

 Secondary

Western Carolina did virtually nothing through the air – only putting up 90 yards of passing on the evening. Cam Sutton allowed a rare completion to his side on the first drive, but promptly stripped the football and held up the WCU receiver long enough for Derek Barnett to get downfield and jump on the loose ball. That’s yet another example of Sutton’s NFL-level instincts. Todd Kelly Jr. was active in run support and was the co-leader (along with Evan Berry) with five tackles on the night. And it was great to see LaDarrell McNeil return to the field and grab an interception and huge return in his first opportunity in 2015. Stephen Griffin did some good things in the second half as a reserve as well. This group got the job done on Saturday.
