No. 15 Ole Miss at No. 2 Alabama (-7), Saturday, 9:15 pm ET, ESPN
Kevin: The best game on television this weekend, hopefully, will feature an offense averaging over 70 points per game against an Alabama defense. Hugh Freeze has stepped back from his promising televangelism career to build what looks like a monster of a team in Oxford. Nick Saban has a better than average track record in these games, but Ole Miss is set up to give Alabama a lot of problems. If the Crimson Tide wins, it will be by less than 7, I’ll take Ole Miss +7..
John: This is tough, as I genuinely believe this will be a one-score contest that Bama will find a way to win. But the Rebel offense has me going “Wait, what?” They’re the first SEC team to put up 70 points in back to back weeks in the history of EVER. But in UT Martin and Fresno State they didn’t face anywhere near the defense they’ll face in T-town. So the Rebels powerful offense gets held in check and Derrick Henry is just effective enough to get it done. Alabama -7.
