8. Getting Dormady Real Playing Time
Against Bowling Green, Quinten Dormady saw garbage time and only threw one pass – which isn’t necessarily a bad thing.
But as the season progresses, it would be wise to give your backup quarterback as many game reps as possible in the unfortunate event that your starter goes down with an injury. Just ask Notre Dame coach Brian Kelly if he would have liked to give DeShone Kizer more reps before starter Malik Zaire broke his foot last week.
If the Vols can get up big by halftime it would be a great opportunity to put in Dormady and let him run the offense in its entirety, which also means passing the ball a few times.
