Vols Set New Decibel Record at Neyland Stadium

Neyland Stadium-1-6

The Vols jumped out to a 17-3 over Oklahoma in the first half, and the crowd at a sold-out, checkered Neyland Stadium, seemed to have helped out. Tennessee announced a record noise level in the first half of 114 decibels, according to school officials.

It’s unclear how long the Vols have been recording sound levels, and it may be difficult to truly call it the loudest moment ever at Neyland, but one thing is for sure, the crowd is rocking as Tennessee looks to pull out the signature win on a national stage.
