2. Jalen Reeves-Maybin will lead the Vols in tackles on the way to All-SEC honors
Reed Carringer: Reeves-Maybin is in for a breakout campaign. He tallied 101 tackles last year and I expect those numbers to rise this season – especially with A.J. Johnson no longer on the team. On a defense stacked with talent, he’s often overlooked. That ends this fall after he proves to be the leader of the linebacking corps, leads the Vols in tackles and earns All-SEC honors. Vol fans know Reeves-Maybin was one of the best linebackers in the league last year – the rest of the league will figure that out this year.
