No single game determines a season, but the mid-year clash against the Bulldogs is the most important game on the 2015 schedule for the Vols. The SEC media picked the Bulldogs and Vols one and two in the SEC East, so in terms of that race, this game is the most important on paper. And this Georgia contest simply represents the type of game Tennessee needs to win. The Bulldogs are talented in several areas, and UT’s been able to stick close with them in recent years, but it’s time to get wins over teams like this – not just talk about keeping it competitive. If UT can notch this win and pin a loss on the presumed East favorites, that could help a lot of 2015 goals fall into place.
