2. At Florida, Sept. 26
The Gators have questions at quarterback, offensive line and really all over the offensive side of the ball, plus they must replace Donte Fowler Jr. on the other side of the ball. There are a lot of reasons the Vols should win this game. But being expected to beat an opponent that holds a 10-game winning streak is a tough situation to be in. An early-season loss to the Gators would certainly shake confidence and momentum and could make this team and staff question some of the perceived progress they’ve made. In addition to it being a road game and an SEC East game, the Vols really need to take care of Florida for a variety of reasons.
