Bovada, an online sportsbook and casino, has updated its current Heisman odds, and Joshua Dobbs has been added to the board at 100/1 odds. Dobbs was previously off the Bovada board on updates on July 7 and Jan. 30 of this year.
Jalen Hurd remained at 100/1 odds, which he was at on July 7. He did drop from 50/1 to 100/1 between Jan. 30 and July 7 – perhaps due to the continued emergence of Alvin Kamara and the chance that he may cut into Hurd’s overall workload.

Overall, Hurd and Dobbs are tied for 29th nationally in terms of having the best odds to win the Heisman. A Tennessee player has never won the Heisman Trophy before despite some close calls in the past with Peyton Manning and Johnny Majors.
Since 2000, 13 of the 14 winners have been quarterbacks, so if you are going to throw a long-shot bet down, Dobbs is probably your better option of the two.
