The buzz around Florida football hasn’t exactly been palpable this offseason. With huge questions on offense, a new coach in Jim McElwain and a program that is in overall rebuilding mode, the Gators are doing everything they can to get people to the stadium this season.
Fans aren’t beating the door down to see the beginning of the McElwain era either. Ticket sales are lagging for the Sept. 5 opener against New Mexico State, so Florida’s practically giving them away at this point.
