2. RB Derrick Henry, Alabama
The next in a line of great Alabama running backs, Henry will get his shot to be the top back for the Tide in 2015 after sharing the spotlight with T.J. Yeldon in his first two seasons. Henry is a freak at 6-foot-3, 242 pounds. As somewhat of a 1B back in 2014, he put up 990 yards and 11 touchdowns on just 172 carries. He had a decent performance against Tennessee last year with 16 carries for 78 yards and a touchdown, but the Tide will be looking for more from him against the Vols in 2015 as he takes on No. 1 back responsibilities. He has all the raw tools in the world, a strong offensive line and a chance for a huge season. Will offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin utilize him correctly and will Alabama’s uncertainty at quarterback hurt him? Those are really the two biggest questions for him in 2015, because everything else is in place for a huge year.
