LB Austin Smith (#11)
There wasn’t a ton of fanfare surrounding Smith when he signed with the Vols. But he’s one player who perhaps looks the part more than the recruiting services gave him credit for. He’s big, fast, versatile and a film from UT showed him making an incredible diving interception at one point in the first week. He’s getting a look at Mike linebacker, but he can play all three spots and will help on special teams. There’s a chance he could be the “steal” of the class.
