3. But don’t forget about Shy Tuttle
If you’ve seen the McKenzie video, be sure to check out the Tuttle one as well. The freshman defensive tackle put senior Marcus Jackson, a likely starter, on his back in the same drill. Tuttle has improved his conditioning since the spring, according to defensive coordinator John Jancek, and while a lot of the excitement and hype is centered on McKenzie, there’s a lot of evidence that Tuttle too can be a really good SEC defensive lineman. With those two anchoring the middle of the defensive line, the future looks bright on that side of the ball.
