10. Options abound in the secondary
If I had to bet, I’d guess the Vols stick with the starting lineup we saw in the spring of CB Cam Sutton, CB Emmanuel Moseley, NB Rashaan Gaulden, S LaDarrell McNeil and S Brian Randolph as the starting five in the nickel look. But Tennessee has options. Newcomer CB Justin Marin certainly looks the part – he has long arms, moves incredibly well and catches the ball like a receiver. Is he physical enough? Hard to say, but he looks like he can cover some ground. Veteran CB Malik Foreman is a steady option if needed as well. The depth at safety is top-notch with Evan Berry and Todd Kelly Jr., two players who would start for a lot of teams right now, right behind the starters. Safety Stephen Griffin, cornerback Micah Abernathy and cornerback Darrell Miller are among the freshmen who add even more depth.
