Status
Dickerson really blew up over the spring and early summer, performing well at several camps and receiving invitations to The Opening and The Under Armour All-American Game among other honors. He’s no stranger to Tennessee – visiting at least four times over the course of his junior season, and he is expected to return multiple times in 2015 before he makes a final decision. Tennessee, South Carolina and Virginia Tech seem to be the teams to watch.

 How He Fits

Dickerson plays primarily tackle at the high school level, and though some project him as a guard, he probably has the frame to play outside in college. The Vols are beginning to restock the tackle position after a lean year in 2014, but there’s still work to be done there.

Dickerson plays with an incredible mean streak – showing some similarities to 2015 signee Jack Jones. Many of the plays on his highlight reel end up with the defender he’s blocking on the ground. He does a good job getting to the second and third levels to block defenders downfield as well. He is even athletic enough to line up as a fullback in some sets as well. We expect UT to take four or five O-linemen in this class and Dickerson brings a great mentality and some versatility that would certainly be welcomed by the Vols.
