7. How is the QB depth chart shaking out?
For once, there won’t be questions about who the starting QB will be. No. 2-4 remains an open competition, however. Quinten Dormady took a big step towards earning the backup job in the spring, but what are the first impressions of summer enrollee Sheriron Jones? Has Jauan Jennings progressed throwing the football over the summer and did his legal situation earlier in the summer affect his status at all? The Vols have to like where they are at this position overall, but there are still questions, especially if anything were to happen to Dobbs next season.
