The fact that an injury wiped out most of his 2014 season might be leading some to sell the Cincinnati transfer short when it comes to the impact that he can have for the Vols. No, he’s not taking a lot of carries away from Jalen Hurd or Alvin Kamara, but expect Butch Jones and Mike DeBord to find some ways to get him touches, including screens, draws, reverses and possibly in the return game at times.
His size (5-7) limits his impact potential to an extent, but it’s a luxury to add a player who has approximately 3,500 all-purpose yards in his collegiate career at a position in need of depth.
