While many look for a younger player such as Darrin Kirkland Jr., Jakob Johnson or Dillon Bates to step up at inside linebacker, don’t forget about Bynum, who has emerged from being buried on the depth chart to a legitimate option to start in A.J. Johnson’s vacated spot.
Regardless if he wins the job or not, he’ll be a great resource at that position and an asset on special teams and possibly on defense in short-yardage situations.
