Every Friday of the offseason, a member of the RTI team will post a top-10 list. Many will be directly related to UT athletics, but some will veer off course a bit. Obviously these will all be subjective in nature, a bit ridiculous at times and subject to a lot opinion and discussion.
There’s been plenty of hype for Tennessee this offseason, both as a team on the rise and for some individuals. Joshua Dobbs, Cam Sutton, Jalen Reeves-Maybin, Jalen Hurd, Curt Maggitt, Derek Barnett and others have all received some preseason recognition and expectations are high for all of them.
But as Tennessee’s depth and overall experience level improves, some of the backups and other starters are improving in quality as well. And whether because of injury, lack of previous experience or a better-known player in front of them, some players have slipped under the radar a bit this offseason.
Here’s a look at 10 guys who will have a role on the team that you probably haven’t heard/read about as much this offseason:
