Tennessee has confirmed the game times for its opening three contests of the 2015 season:
9/5 (in Nashville) Bowling Green: 4 pm ET, SEC Network
9/12 vs. Oklahoma: 6 pm ET, ESPN
9/19 vs. Western Carolina: 7 pm ET, ESPNU
According to a release from Tennessee, the Vols are 6-1 in games played on the SEC Network, which was formed before the 2014 football season, and 6-0 in games on ESPNU all-time.
The opener against Bowling Green marks the second time the Vols have opened the season in Nashville, also opening the 2002 campaign there with a 47-7 win over Wyoming.
According to recent odds released by 5Dimes, the Vols should be favored in all three of these games, with the offshore sportsbook opening Tennessee as a 24.5-point favorite against Bowling Green, a 3-point favorite against Oklahoma, and though the Western Carolina game isn’t listed at this point, the Vols will undoubtedly be overwhelming favorites against the FCS foe that has never played the Vols before.
