The Urban Meyer disciple has taken Mississippi State places nobody thought the Bulldogs would go – primarily to No. 1 overall in the nation last year for a short instance. Even though MSU didn’t finish it off last year and has some challenges in 2015, that doesn’t take away from the job Mullen has done – averaging 8.2 wins per season after getting through a 5-7 rebuilding campaign in Year 1 in Starkville. Imagine if he had ended up at Florida after Urban Meyer. He could’ve potentially won even bigger there and would find himself higher on the list.
