4. Hugh Freeze
The relatively unheralded hire before the 2012 season took a two-win team from 2011, rebuilt the roster and has averaged eight wins per season, reaching a New Year’s Six Bowl last season. The 2014 season didn’t end how he would’ve liked, but if not for a couple late key injuries, the Rebels had a legitimate shot to win the brutal SEC West heading into the final few weeks.
He’s definitely on letdown alert after losing his quarterback, but he’s recruited well enough that Ole Miss has enough talent to have another good year in 2015 if the Rebels can find a signal caller.
